FDCP Channel is designed to highlight the social aspect of film viewing.
Target Users
18-35 years old Filipinos who like connecting with people through the things they watch
Problem
- As cinema houses remain an uncertainty in the global pandemic, how can home entertainment platform simulate the communal experience of watching films.
- Media streaming platforms are becoming more popular and there are a lot of users who are experiencing undeniable benefits to the way people consume entertainment, because of this, users get overwhelmed easily by the huge number of streaming services and available options thus creating a feeling of decision fatigue
- There are limited payment options with extra add ons
- Limitation of TV shows and movies (Lack of new video content)
Goal
- Create a streaming service that will facilitate watch parties, personalized recommendations, and a mini-social feed to share the movies you love with your friends
- Create a platform where it will help users optimize their experience with streaming platforms so that they can easily find their preferred entertainment recommendation that will overcome the paradox of choice
